Is December upon us so soon? I cannot believe these past 6 months. I have so much to be thankful for during the Holidays and I am blessed to be doing a job that I love. It doesn’t always feel like work, but I will be taking a couple of weeks to rest my body, and my poor guitar 🙁 do some writing and make concrete plans to finish my album. It is time 🙂

I have some regular venues that are being extremely supportive, some serious gigging/traveling this season and
new ideas on the horizon. First and foremost, I’d love to shout out Terra Cafe (101 E 25th St, Baltimore, MD 21218) for making such a great space for musicians and artists. So many folks come through the venue to leave fliers and business cards, listen to music, comedy, open mics, poetry etc. It is a great place to meet people and it is family and kid friendly. I play Thursday lunchtime shows from 12-2pm. Stop in on Monday nights for the open mic with Jahiti from 5-8pm. The food is also excellent! I’m trying to get them to name a sandwich after me . . . We shall see 🙂

The Whistling Oyster (807 S Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21231) is also a great place for music in Baltimore. I played my first four-hour bar gig at their establishment and I have enjoyed each crowd. Thank you Gina DeLuca for inviting me. Shout out to Chuck the Maddox, Brooks Long and Teporah for sharing the mic with me! Those were some great nights!

What a month!! I was blessed to share a stage with Jade Foster, J Pope, LOVE the poet, and Venus Thrash at The Revival this November! Great, intimate crowd and some lovely performances. Two Boots PIzza with Brooks Long and Wordslave, SUNY Oswego and Brooklyn, NY with Wordslave, and Teavolve with Austin Ellis. I’m looking forward to more collaborations.

What’s next for QueenEarth? Hopefully, more guitar students (I teach private instruction. Please e-mail me if you are interested), more college gigs, and more balance. I have some secrets. You’ll just have to wait. Here are my December show dates!
