It’s a New Year . . .

Missy’s Surprise Gift

Hello QueenEarth family!

I hope everyone had a great Holiday and New Year celebration! I went home and played for my family and friends in West Virginia. Thank you to Later Alligator for letting me play a dinner and lunchtime gig during my visit. I also enjoyed my vacation. I shall return.

I’ve got a bunch of shows this month. Regular performances at the Whistling Oyster (807 S Broadway) and every Thursday lunch time at Terra Cafe (101 E. 25th Street). Some new spots, Soul Sessions at the B&L Lounge (1065 Maiden Choice Lane) on the horizon in February and much more to come. Check out my website (still under construction) for date and time specifics. http://www.queenearth.com/?page_id=17 I might be adding a blog or some interesting stories about my open mic adventures. I’m really looking forward to some more SO WHAT?! gigs this Spring. Myself and LOVE the poet are an awesome acoustic, spoken word, hip hop duo 🙂 Check us out on my youtube channel (www.youtube.com/msqueenearth) under the SO WHAT?! playlist 🙂 I also posted new QueenEarth videos in my playlist on the homepage from Wheeling, WV, and Storytellers!

And finally, special thanks to me friends and family for pitching in to buy the PA system. Footage of the surprise is on my youtube channel LOL This means that I can go into any bar and restaurant or Three Rivers Stadium (RIP) and have a concert 🙂 I’m looking for places to host my own open mic. Perhaps you all can make suggestions and I’ll do some research. With this gift, I can bring people together and enjoy music and friendship. It means so much that folks believe in my dream to continue as a full time artist . I celebrated 6 months in December and I am thankful for that blessing. Happy New Year. Don’t forget to check my website (www.queenearth.com) for upcoming shows. Thank you for your support 🙂
Sincerely,
QueenEarth

  1. Thank you so much for blessing me with your inspirational music today at Terra Cafe! I had no idea the treat I was in for as my friend and I decided on a last minute lunch spot. You have no idea how just that brief meeting rocked my core as I’ve made decisions to be authentic with my music and to do that which resonates with my spirit. This Journey of life continues to be an amazing experience and when I can cross paths with talented, creative, and enlightened individuals…it makes it all the more AMAZING! I look forward to collaborating with and learning from you.

    Peace and Light,

    Ty
