Hey Peoples!!

 

Summer is upon us. I can tell because it’s getting warm outside and I need to invest in some new booty shorts and tank tops!

 

I’ve got some quick and exciting updates. First and foremost, SO WHAT?! (QueenEarth+LOVE the poet=SO WHAT?!) is playing at Baltimore Pride! We perform on Sunday June 19, 2011 in Druid Hill Park. I’m also starting a new gig as a trivia host at Maynard’s Cafe (3916 S Hanover St) in Brooklyn, MD. I am pumped. I’ve done radio and hosted open mics. Many of you may not know, but I am also full of useless information. I figure I’m a perfect fit to help people learn random trivia at a local watering hole. How exciting! Form a team and come down. It starts at the end of June and I will be sure to keep you all posted!

 

• Tonight, I’m guest hosting The Clam Jam with GIna DeLuca at The Point in Fells (1738 Thames St)!! All ladies open mic!! FREE!! Boys can come, but if you want to perform you have to wear a wig or a dress :p
• This Friday 5/27/2011 at 10pm, I’m at The Point in Fells with Spaceman and Benzel!! It’s my first gig with a drummer and a bass player.
• Thursday 5/26/2011, I’m dropping by Acoustic Thursdays at Peace and a Cup of Joe (713 W Pratt St) accompanying Janice B for her feature. $5 for performers/$7/$10BYOB. This is one of my favorite open mics in the city. It’s hosted by Marc Evans, Chuck the Maddox, and Kevin Jackson.
• And finally, Sunday 5/29/2011, I’m playing at Atwater’s in Catonsville for their Sunday TIffin Box Brunch, 11:30 – 2pm. Local food and local artists!!
